A
partir del 20 de noviembre de 2007 se encuentra a la venta en todas las
desquerías “Building Grooves”, el esperado nuevo álbum de estudio. Este disco
dota a la electronica de una sensibilidad y nivel de composición poco habitual
en un género mas abocado a las texturas y al éxtasis rítmico que al trabajo
melódico. Con Building Grooves, el dúo consigue su mejor trabajo, el cual es una
fascinante colección de canciones que se adhieren inmediatamente a la memoria y
permanecen con nosotros días enteros.
Como broche de oro el grupo incluye una original versión de “Herat and Soul”, el
clásico after punk de Joy Division.
Gusz is a duo that introduces Electronica to a
sensibility and level of composition rarely seen in a genre more accustomed to
textures and rhythmic ecstasy than melodic work.
“Building Grooves” is their third album (following “Clean Up” and “Hi-Level”,
released in 2002 and 2004 respectively), and as a whole turns out to be their
best work, demonstrating a style that with each song only gets more and more
polished and appealing. With a notable cast of guest singers, “Building Grooves”
is a fascinating collection of songs that immediately sticks in your memory and
stays with us for entire days on end.
And for the grand finale of an album that, without question, finds itself
amongst this year’s best releases, the group includes an original version of
“Heart and Soul”, the after punk classic by Joy Division.
